Vivek Ramaswamy opposes her on the Republican ticket.
On July 14, 1978, Donna Arthur lost custody of her daughter, Amy Acton, then 12, because her stepfather, Cledith Arthur had been arrested and charged with raping her.
To avoid trial, Donna Arthur fled Ohio with her husband. Her daughter had not seen her since 1978.
Last week Donna Arthur, now in her 80’s, appeared in an attack ad on Amy Acton paid for by Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign. In the ad she accuses her daughter of being a liar all her life.
All of Donna Arthur’s claims have been shown to be false.
Donna Arthur and Amy’s stepfather’s actions have been brought to light.
To be fair, some Republicans denounced the ad.
However, Ramaswamy spent an additional $4 million to continue to air it after the depravity of the whole affair had been uncovered.
Donald Trump called the attack “fair game,” praised the ad as “so good.” and urged Ramaswamy to “keep it up.” J.D. Vance said the contents of the ad “were not [my] concern,” and said he was “disgusted” by Republican objections to the ad.
The ad uses an elderly woman who appears unwell to attack her own daughter, this after she chose her pedophile, rapist husband over her own daughter.

And then Ramaswamy compounded that betrayal by wielding that evil mother as a weapon against her own daughter.”
This story is a perfect condensation of MAGA degeneracy growing more and more poisonous over time.
Cruelty, racial hatred, the use of the law as a weapon against the rule of law, its vile misogyny, its corruption on an epic scale, the betrayal of allies in favor of Putin – all of those ingredients are in the MAGA pool. Now add this toxin.
As their voters abandon them, as their time in power grows shorter, true MAGA becomes more shameless in its pathology The pool in which they swim grows more and more and more virulent. No matter the results of this coming election, we have two more years of this.
Trump retains the support of 41% of the Republican Party. Tens of millions of Americans.
No political reform in the world is going to serve as an antidote to that MAGA malevolence.
Whatever happens in a few days, we can never allow ourselves to be governed by them again.
